Since the very beginning of our musical journey as a saxophone quartet, we have been inspired and coached by great ensembles and musicians like the Quatuor Ébène, the Artemis Quartett and Gabor Takacs Nagy.
Studying with them had not only been a real honour but also an extremely revealing experience. In fact, none of our teachers was a saxophonist and that enlarged our musical learning even wider by transcending the mere technique to focus on pure music and its profound meaning. Exploring the unlimited language of music through the deepness of our mentors’ personal and musical legacy.
A legacy we intend to continue, and therefore we are thrilled to invite young ensembles to join us for our masterclass and workshops.
1. Groups
Chamber music – with special focus on winds and brass chamber music ensembles.
2. Plan of work
2 teachers per group of students
A precise plan shall be discussed based on time schedule and number of students.
3. Q & A
– broadening repertoire
– transcriptions and original works
– building a (concert) program
4. Video and Audio Recording
Upon request, an audio video recording will be available for students (authorisation will be requested to every student joining the class during the recording). The above-mentioned recordings will be sent to the students after the end of the masterclass.
Students will have the opportunity to watch the session all over again, focusing on their learning process and enjoying their final achievements.
