Initiative RHAPSODY IN SCHOOL

CONCERT

Artists visit students on a free morning at school to engage in conversation and perform music for them.

Rhapsody in School sessions take place in classrooms of all school types: elementary, secondary, special education, vocational schools, grammar schools, and comprehensive schools across Germany. Additionally, upon request from musicians, school visits are also organized across Europe, including Austria, Switzerland, and Montenegro, as well as worldwide in countries such as Korea and Australia.

GOALS

Through direct encounters, students have the opportunity to get to know the person behind the public figure. They learn about their passion for music and what drives them from within.

The artists firmly believe that listening to music inspires young people to nurture their curiosity, love, joy, and enthusiasm for life—our most important motivational factors.

Inspiring Encounters

Understanding how an artist fulfills their potential, what makes them unique, and how they stand out from others resonates deeply with the younger generation’s own questions:

What drives me?
Can I turn my passion into a career?
How can I stand out from the crowd?

Students, depending on their age, ask these and many other questions to the artists of Rhapsody in School when they meet in the classroom. And the musicians witness how their passion ignites a spark in the students.
